VOLDT Hardware employs parametric design to generate a coherent family of pulls and handles. Each variation maintains the algorithmic DNA of the system while offering precise control over dimensional and material properties.

The configurator presents finite predefined options rather than unlimited customization, ensuring every output maintains design integrity and manufacturability.

Material Specification

Polyamide hardware.
Why, and how it's finished.

VOLDT Hardware is produced with Nylon 12 (polyamide) — the same industrial-grade material used in aerospace, medical devices, and automotive end-use components. Metal hardware requires tooling dies; every variation requires a new one. Our process removes that ceiling, allowing the parametric system to generate a coherent family of variations without manufacturing constraints determining the design.

Skin & Hand Contact

Nylon 12, certified biocompatible per ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and ISO 10993-10 (skin sensitization) — the same standard applied to medical devices and prosthetics. Topcoats and dyes comply with standards such as EN71-3 (toy safety) and DIN53160 (saliva- & perspiration-resistant)

Finish Tiers — Three Options

01 — Entry

Natural

SLS Nylon 12, Polyx hardwax coat

Surface Designed micro-textured finish, undyed, sealed with a Polyx hardwax coat. Low sheen, warm to the touch. Wipes clean with standard cabinet cleaners.
Color Deep charcoal. The hardwax draws the stone grey of sintered Nylon 12 down to a warm near-black — consistent across production runs.

02 — Standard

Dyed

Dyed Nylon 12

Surface Matte with designed micro-textured finish. Color is dye, not a coating — it will not chip or peel at edges or mounting points.
Color Stone Grey — Black — Dark Green-Grey — Dark Blue-Grey. Dyeing carries no wax coat, so the lighter greys stay light.

03 — Premium

Sealed

Nylon 12, vapor-smoothed, deep-dyed

Surface Smooth, sealed. Vapor-smoothing closes the surface to a continuous skin. Can be wiped clean with standard cabinet cleaning solutions.
Color Extended color range. Deep, consistent tone — vapor-smoothed surface produces a uniform sheen not achievable on matte finishes.
Surface Seal Fully sealed at the material level rather than by coating — the most cleanable of the three, for high-traffic and frequently wiped installations.

Finish availability varies by colorway. All three tiers are suitable for kitchen, hospitality, and multi-unit residential specification.
