Timeline: project-dependent; quote provided after review
Case Study
Large commercial development required reproduction of 240 custom latches on existing electrical panels after the original manufacturer ceased operations. VOLDT reverse-engineered the hardware from physical samples, developed parametric models to accommodate dimensional variation across door types, and produced all components to finish specification.
Scope
240 components
Timeline
8 weeks, sample to delivery
Outcome
Full match to original spec
Existing
Reconstructed
Case Study
An in-house nesting algorithm that packs polygonal parts into CNC sheet layouts efficiently -- fewer setups, less waste, lower cost per part.
Method
Heuristic nesting algorithm
Application
CNC milling, laser cutting
Output
Reduced material waste
