This page describes what voldtlab.com collects, why, and which services process it. We have written it to match what the site actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical.

VOLDT LAB LLC is a design and fabrication studio based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. We operate voldtlab.com.

Three forms on this site collect information, and only when you choose to submit them:
When you load a page, the site records a visit. Each record contains:
Our analytics provider also sees your IP address as a normal part of handling the request. The session identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any order, and it is not carried across visits — a new one is generated each time you return.
Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. Your card details are submitted to Stripe and never pass through this site or reach us. We receive the resulting order record — name, shipping and billing address, email, items, and amount — through our Stripe account.
Form submissions are used to answer you and to carry out the work you're asking about. Order information is used to fulfil, ship, and support your order, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Visit records are used to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from.
We may email you about an order you have placed, including an invitation to review it after delivery. We do not operate a marketing mailing list, and submitting a form does not subscribe you to anything.
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it for behavioral targeting or retargeting. We rely on the following services, each of which processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms:
Hosts this site and receives form submissions. Netlify also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.
Stores the visit records described above.
Runs on every page to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic, which is what keeps our form inboxes usable. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Processes payments and holds your order and payment records. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own. Two kinds of storage are used on your device, and neither is transmitted to us as a cookie:
Items you add are held in your browser's local storage so the cart survives a page reload. It stays on your device until you clear it or complete an order.
Held in session storage and erased when you close the tab.
Stripe and reCAPTCHA set their own cookies when their services load, governed by the policies linked above.
Reviews can only be submitted through a link tied to a completed order, so every review reflects a real purchase. If you submit one, the rating, your review text, and the name you enter may be published on this site. We recommend a first name or initials. Your email address, order details, and payment reference are never published.
To have a published review amended or removed, email info@voldtlab.com.
Inquiries are kept as long as they are useful for the project or relationship they concern. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Visit records are kept in aggregate for as long as they remain useful and are not tied to an identified person.
Email info@voldtlab.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will respond to any reasonable request, whether or not a particular privacy law applies to you. Deletion requests cannot extend to records we are required to retain, such as completed order and tax records.
Blocking scripts from gstatic.com and firebaseio.com in your browser will stop visit logging without affecting the rest of the site.
This site is intended for adults and for design and construction professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date above is updated.
